“When the Best Option Is Still a 1970s Drug,

You Know It’s Time for Something New.”

Levodopa (L-DOPA) was introduced in the late 1960s and became the standard first-line treatment by the 1970s.

Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) was FDA-approved in 1997, but is invasive, expensive, and limited in accessibility.

Most treatment plans are still medication-based, managing symptoms rather than promoting functional brain change.

Few options exist that are non-invasive, home-based, and designed for neurorehabilitation or prevention.

Medication Helps. But the Brain Needs Training, Too.

A PERSONAL MISSION

Brain Storm Studios was born from a personal mission—to give people with Parkinson’s more control over their treatment and their future. After my dad, Mike, was diagnosed, we saw firsthand the frustration of limited options and invasive procedures. Instead of waiting, he took action, developing Brain Storm, a non-invasive therapeutic app for the Apple Vision Pro. Using multi-sensory stimulation, it offers a new, patient-driven approach—accessible, adaptable, and built for real people.

About Us

Building Brain Storm

  • Most Parkinson’s treatments are either temporary fixes or invasive, high-risk procedures like deep brain stimulation (DBS). Brain Storm is different—it’s about working with the brain naturally, using sensory signals to help restore lost timing functions. It’s not a cure, but it’s a chance to give people back some control, some hope, and some time.

  • This isn’t just about my dad. It’s about everyone in the Parkinson’s community who feels like they’re waiting for a breakthrough that never comes. Brain Storm is designed to be accessible, adaptable, and transparent—no hidden algorithms, no medical claims, just a tool to help people take charge of their own treatment.

  • Brain Storm is being developed as a General Wellness Product (GWP), meaning there’s no waiting on FDA approval. If this works, it could change lives—and we don’t have time to wait.

ABOUT BRAIN STORM

OUR MISSION

Dream it

2

Dreamt it.

Build it

The prototype is ready to be built, but first, we need your support in raising money to make it happen.

3

4

Provide users with a system to test, control, and track different stimulation settings. If successful, Brain Storm could offer an accessible, scalable, and user-directed platform by enabling remote access, data sharing, and personalized experiences.

Grow it

Enable it

Our goal is for Brain Storm to be accessible, adaptable, and transparent—no hidden algorithms, no false promises. Just a powerful tool designed to put individuals in control of their own experience.
