Our Story

Brain Storm Studios was born from a personal mission—to give people with Parkinson’s more control over their treatment and their future. After my dad, Mike, was diagnosed in 2020, we saw firsthand the frustration of limited options and invasive procedures. Instead of waiting, we are taking action, and are currently working to develop Brain Storm, a non-invasive wellness app for the Apple Vision Pro.

  • When my dad, Mike, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at 49, everything changed. He’s a husband, a father of four, and a business owner, but most of all, he’s someone who refuses to let this disease define him. His diagnosis wasn’t linked to genetics but is believed to have come from herbicide exposure while working in landscaping as a teenager. At first, we were searching for answers—why did this happen? But now, we’re focused on something bigger: finding a way to help, not just for him, but for everyone facing this disease.

  • Mike didn’t just accept his diagnosis—he dove headfirst into research. He’s participated in clinical trials, tested different therapies, and met with leading scientists. He’s reviewed grants for the Parkinson’s Foundation, advised on research funding for the Department of Defense, and even advocated for better treatment options on Capitol Hill. But despite all this, he kept running into the same problem: time. The treatments that show promise are still years away, tied up in approvals and delays. He knew he couldn’t just wait—he had to take action.

  • That’s why he created Brain Storm—an app for Apple Vision Pro designed to bring real, immediate options to people with Parkinson’s. Working with an engineering team, he’s building a system that uses multi-sensory (audio-visual-tactile) stimulation to retrain the brain’s perception of time. Instead of invasive procedures or waiting for FDA approvals, Brain Storm as a General Wellness Product (GWP) puts the power directly into the hands of patients—allowing them to test, adjust, and personalize their own therapy.

Building Brain Storm

  • Most Parkinson’s treatments are either temporary fixes or invasive, high-risk procedures like deep brain stimulation (DBS). Brain Storm is different—it’s about working with the brain naturally, using sensory signals to help restore lost timing functions. It’s not a cure, but it’s a chance to give people back some control, some hope, and some time.

  • This isn’t just about my dad. It’s about everyone in the Parkinson’s community who feels like they’re waiting for a breakthrough that never comes. Brain Storm is designed to be accessible, adaptable, and transparent—no hidden algorithms, no medical claims, just a tool to help people take charge of their own treatment.

  • Brain Storm is being developed as a General Wellness Product (GWP), meaning there’s no waiting on FDA approval. If this works, it could change lives—and we don’t have time to wait.

2

Dreamt it.

Build it

The prototype is ready to be built, but first, we need your support in raising money to make it happen.

3

4

Provide users with a system to test, control, and track different stimulation settings. If successful, Brain Storm could offer an accessible, scalable, and user-directed platform by enabling remote access, data sharing, and personalized experiences.

Grow it

Enable it

Our goal is for Brain Storm to be accessible, adaptable, and transparent—no hidden algorithms, no false promises. Just a powerful tool designed to put individuals in control of their own experience.
